13 Grassroots Meetings to Launch Protect Dogs - Yes on 13 Campaign

Starting on June 4, animal protection advocates will hold 13 grassroots meetings across the state to officially launch the Protect Dogs - Yes on 13 campaign.

Grassroots meetings will be held in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, Naples, Gainesville, Merritt Island, Vero Beach, Largo, Lakeland, and Palm Coast.

"This morning, the Florida Greyhound Association filed a lawsuit to remove Amendment 13 from the ballot.

This lawsuit is dead on arrival. It is a desperate attempt to prevent voters from having a voice on whether greyhound confinement and deaths should continue. It was filed because greyhound breeders know that when Amendment 13 appears on the ballot, Floridians will vote Yes for the dogs.

Most recently, the firm did the strategy and messaging for Doug Jones' historic Senate victory in Alabama, first Democrat to win the U.S. Senate in Alabama in 25 years. Recently, the team helped guide the Massachusetts Yes on 3 ballot initiative, preventing farm animal confinement, to the largest margin of victory for an animal protection initiative in history.
